KIDS are very excited to meet all filmmakers who are interested in family films. Our mission is to gather people from all over the world and create a community that we share, learn and discover extraordinary intercultural education experience through the art of films.

KIDS International Film Festival dedicates special awards and prizes to films and short videos about China or Chinese speaking countries/regions. With our local chapter in Shanghai, KIDS provides a platform to bridge China and the world.

KIDS also dedicates special awards and prizes to films and short videos about France or French speaking countries/regions. With our local chapter in Paris, KIDS International Film Festival helps communicate French culture with the globe.
Submission Requirement
- English closed captioning and audio description are encouraged but not required. Foreign-language films must have English subtitles.
- Film Completion date should be the current year and the previous year.
- Artworks requirements:
- Two Stills 960 X 380 px
- Two Stills 1920 x 1080 px
- Two Posters：18’’ x 24’’
- Video: high resolution 16:9
Length Requirement
- Feature Length Film: A narrative, animated or experimental film 31+ minutes in length.
- Short Film: A narrative, animated or experimental film 30 minutes or less in length.
- Documentary Feature Film: A documentary film 31+ minutes in length.
- Documentary Short Film: A documentary film 30 minutes or less in length.
- Family Short Video: amateur short video about family time 10 minutes or less in length

Judging Process
- By submitting your film, you will be added to our mailing list in order to notify you of your entry's status as well as news about the festival.
- We have best-in-class experts and industry leaders as our judges for the features and short films.
- For the amateur family short videos, we will reward based on their community popularity and also decisions from our community judges.
